LOL! Headstock bearing! Don't make me laugh! They always con people out of that one. Usually its just where someone has previously had the yokes apart and forgot to tighten it up. If that were me i would have told them that i'll book it again. You get 14 days anyway

They always do that. But if you didnt know what it was then i suppose £20 isnt bad. But they do that a lot because its easy money...

Yeah its a bit of a difference to be fair. I built my bike so I'll be damned if i'm going to let me fail on brand new headstock bearings. I can't see how they can fail either. They're so tightly packed that if its got play then it means you've had a cataclymistic failure of the headstock. And replacing the bearings is the only way forward. But it wasnt that. Because i doubt they'd have the exact bearings you needed in stock. It was obviously loose yokes. And i would have saved meself the 20 squid and done it at home. Like said you get 14 days to take the bike back and have a free mot anyway.

Would make lots more sense if you knew what i was talking about and could visualise it. You would realise what a con it is. But can't complain at £20 and there and then you're legit.

Google "Headstock bearing" and prepare for facepalm.

£20 to tighten that up? I agree with Calum.
