Just use a correct size allen hex bolt & washer you dont really need carb warmer pipes anyway blanked mine off long time ago

Anyone got an idea what the hollow screw in the cylinder head for the carb heater pipes are called and where i can find one ?

i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike

Aj sutton is probably your best bet. Not sure why you would meed to remove one though.

Yeh it is thank you :D mine snapped on me in the head but i managed to get it out

they are known to leak on dt's, and the pipes can easily blow off.

 

just blank it off and join the 2 carb water inlets together

 

makes removing the carb easier too.

Never had carb warmer pipes blow off on my dr. Never.

me either on my own bikes, but ive seen it happen, one less thing to go wrong if you blank it off

lol mine are blanked off atm and it snapped when i was putting the bike bike together after the rebuild

Ive never had them leak on any of my DT`s either tbh. We have had some cold weather lately but we don`t get sub zero temps all the while in our country. So thats why I took mine off
