Anyone advise what is the purpose of this relay please? 2 wires broke off when messing about on my relay 2000 dt125r model. can i not disconnect this full stop?

There is mate. There is a full wiring diagram in the back. Very useful. Find the component. And trace the wire. Simples. The manual can be very useful for finding wiring.

It's purpose is to tell the ECU when your in neutral and allows you to start the bike.

i can start mine in gear if i pull the clutch in

i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike
