Then i found out that the front forks have about 1 inch play in them. So now its all ready to go but i cant ride it due to one problem. Fml.

Bikes been off the road since I got it mate : ( bought it cheap thinking it wouldn't take much for an mot just new tyres headlight and indicators! But how wrong was I!! Bike been fully re wired, new front axle! Old one seized in solid so had to be destroyed to get it out, new wheel bearings, fork seals, head stock bearings (think the stem has been ground down too) new tyres loads!! Last issue now is the rear calipers seized a day before its mot : (

You're such a sap liam lol.

Could have done the work yourself and had it on the road within a month. With help from me and the other lot we would have got it back on the road in no time.

Saved yourself a lot of wonga too!

Its too nice today to be indoors!

O_O The front brake is the main one to stop a bike. Anyone pulls out on you, and you can't stop due to no front brake and popo take your bike in and see no front brake, you're getting done for driving without due care and attention.

I also have no bike, well I have a slow as hell fagped. My clutch cable snapped.

 LOL! Lmao!

do you really think a front brake is going to remain intact after a head on collision. In fact to find out whether the bike was rideable at all after the crash would be impossible.

Also my bike is running uprated brakes. Should be alright if im going slow. But i'd admit its scart. Knowing that you wouldnt be able to stop. oh well.

Meh, although I wouldn't be too bothered about losing my life in a motorcycle accident, I think riding without brakes is just pain insanity.

The amount of times the front brake has saved my life on my ped, I couldn't number it.

We all crash, even the best of motorcycle riders die on them, but try and prevent it as much as you can, whilst you can. wink

It's dealing with the casualties nearly all of you don't see! I see it in daily scale and can normally be one if first onscene!!! Horrific to describe. So try take care where best as possible! Ride safe!
