Quite simply, what's better - a dep expanny or a gutted standard? The gutted standard is half the price of the dep??

I'm thinking gutted standard. Anyway I'm getting quite excited about my lil project...was payday today and its not like I went ott with what I've bought or anything...

So far bought-

New gold tsubaki moto chain and new sprockets
New clutch and brake levers
Kick start mech with idle gear etc
Kick start lever
Battery
Gutted standard expanny
Headlight cowl
YZ 250 USD forks
New grips
New mx jersey gloves and trousers - (Google 'oneal villian' - I love, you'll probs hate!)
Iridium spark plug, trans oil, coolant etc
New indicators
Rear brake pads
New yellow braided brake fluid hoses with yellow pipes inside
New ignition barrel
Trailtech dash speedo
Blue pro taper bars
And If my misses reads this...definitely not a go pro hero 3 black :/

Got my wheels off to be re sprayed along with petrol tank, levers, pegs, kick etc. wheels will be blue and yellow halves. Not sure what to do with the tank though. Any ideas???
That's about it so far. Oooops

more punch out of a dep than a gutted only a little no real gain in power

More power out of a gutted standard. I've had both and standard is better but the dep looks better

How much did you pay for your gutted standard mate?

I am currently selling my old gutted pipe. Be interested to see what they're going for?

The gutted pipe is the only one I haven't bought. It's on for 69 plus ten package. Better it if you want!

Well mine is on for £65 All in. But if we settle it out of eBay it's yours for £50 including postage mate.
