bike wont run without choke on when off it revs to 4k and then dies clarification on screws please!

as above the engine is freshly rebuilt and im running pre mix just cant work this one out as it was running fine (yesterday my first outing) then aroun5 5 yesterday it started playing up and now just will not idle off choke if i throttle it its fine but im having to wrestle with it gotta make mayday run

any help is appreiciated

Could be contaminated fuel mate.

Could be a combination of things. Blocked pipes and fuel lines.

That post I sent you is literally all the problems it can be. So have reread through it and try and sort it out.

I had a similar problem on my rs. Wouldnt run just idle. And bog out. And it was working fine that morning blike said just bad fuel.

blocked jet in the carb ?

i blew my dt up ... but i fixed it.... Then i crashed it.... but i didnt fix it right and 2 scouser's come in the middle of the night and left me with a working bike

if it was blocked jets etc etc then it wouldnt run with choke on,i can leave the bike running for 15 mins with the choke on but nothing changes soon as its off it dies i cant work out if its not getting enough fuel

well semi blocked because that happend to an old bike of mine it wouldnt start unless the choke was on and soon as i took it off it died

ok none of this is working can i get some clarification on the screws like which way to turn them etc ,so the air screw if i turn that in am i increasing or deceasing the air ,idle screw if i turn this in am i raising or lowering the idle ?

enoughs enough im going to sell the bike now and get a slow xr 125 does anyone have any ideas on how much i should sell for ? i have loads of parts to including 2 gearboxes a mudgurad and a whole bottom end plus loads of little bits

 i have this mate but the pages are caked in ****in oil and i cant read it can you please just clarify these screws !

Turning the air screw in = Richer
Turning the air screw out = Leaner

A blocked pilot jet could cause your symptoms of only running on choke, or an air leak

thanks but does no one honestly know what the screws do ? as a quick solution just so i could test it? or is this just to make it harder i needed this info hours ago just while i tested it a quick confirmation would have been really nice yes i have looked through the forum and yes i have looked online but we all have these pieces of **** and surely someone has adjusted their screws before .i knew what the screws did but i had to have it clarified as the engine as fresh ! and any hiccups and i could blow it thanks for the pdf ralzy still info is not clear and im glad ive got that now as ive been reading the wrong manual!

Use this to jet it correctly

Remembering as above you probably have a blocked pilot jet or/and an air leek/s

Do plug chops if you mess around with the carb, if it's running too rich or lean a plug check will tell you before you ruin your engine.
