I ain't no sheep dude. I'll keep the tights thanks. Those forks aren't going to get damaged since i don't go off roading very much. Hence the sumo setup.
My forks aren't perfect. And the socks will protect the most important part. The seals. I've done a fair bit of riding and no problems yet.
I think it looks wicked how it is. But i can see what you're saying. I wasn't too impressed with the socks. They didn't make as much of an impression as the older socks do.
Wow that's the first time I've seen proper pics of the bike calum! Looks REALLY well! Them RS wheels look the mutts on the DT!!
Cheers mate. Blood sweat and tears but its finally there. Few little snags i need to sort out. Like due to the sprocket setups i've at both extremities yet it won't pull very well up hill. And a few things left to buy. but the look is all there.
So the nice weather is here once again. The bikes are out, at least this time it's not just me on the DT :D Did take my GoPro as well. It's just hard to find videos that are worth uploading...
Yeah it's an acquired taste though really. I like them because they remind me of my first legal bike. They come off 2006+ Aprilia RS125
I had a go on my friends DT today. That was amazing fun. I was putting the power on the corners like I would on my bike and the back end was stepping out. Mega fun. I must admit I do LOVE the way the standard DTR rides, probably as much as I love the supermoto. The thing about the supermoto is that you have to drive it faster to get to its limits. Where as the DT is pretty much at its limit most of the time. Great fun.
Im in malia atm for the week, had a go on those 50cc serbi supermoto things or whatever they are, the roads are so smooth your back end slides out in the corners like a bi***, not very quick either
Yeh your bike makes the other dtr there look like a classic
Oh yeah, I was gutted! The other day my sister crashed into my bike. Snapping the £100 brake lever, master cylinder and pegs.
I've bought some ASV levers to replace it. But the ride out yesterday was just rediculous. The Brake fade on the rear nearly got me killed! Okay not literally but after about twenty minutes of riding, or ten minutes of hard riding, the rear brake was cooked and then utterly useless.
New forum rules if anything happens to cal someone must inform his sister so it's only fair that nath should have her number and a pic or her in the event of such happenings
