Ok so I nearly went last year but left it too late....
Its a tiny town in france, real posh, but once a year (a weekend in feb) they hold a beach race. Its great to go and watch and its only like a 40 drive once you get to france. Anyone wanna go watch...or take part even? Need to book soon...
Just try and say it isnt amazing...250,000 people go to this town over that one weekend, all bike mad and getting shltfaced
Next year is the 8-9th feb. Holiday Inn (with a pool) is £290 for two nights...thats a room with 2 double beds, so easily 4 per room and more if they want floor, so its £36 a night each...bargain if you ask me!

Oh, and you will need to be super fit to even finish 2 laps, I have done a few beach races when I was a kid we used to do the Dirt Bike Rider Magazine beach races masters............ The first lap you think this is easy......... then you start the second lap after hundreds of bikes and quads have chewed everything up and its tough really tough your f****d. Dont even think about doing it on a DT............
The last beach race I did was the Redcar round of the masters they don't do it anymore now, I was on the start line on my bike and right next to me was Barry McGuigan the ex world champion boxer on his quad. I left him off the line and never saw him again........
I didn't finish the race due to being totally f****d........
