Anyone know what I can do to protect new seat cover? On the bottom edges,  the old cover had worn, whilst rubbing on tank and frame. ?. Thinking what I can put on edges to protect from wearing through again? Was thinking some sort of clear vinyl sticker? Any ideas

Is there anyway I can lift the seat by Agee mil and reduce the pressure against the seat? That should reduce the wear

I put a couple of layers of duct tape over the corners before I put the new cover on, and then put a small strip of back electrical tape on the bottom two corners of the tank were it rubs. Seems fine so far.
