Ooooo looky looky Enny an underslung exhaust, did you get that TZR exhaust you were on about last week? the one in the vid looks similar to the 4dl2/3 expanny, and check out laddos big Keihin carb too, don't like the idea of not having a filter on mine though.

Better performance and when you live in a hot country like portugal with clean roads you can nearly get away with it :)

And nah i didn't nevwin! This thing is awesome though :D

Hot country roads generally equates to a fair bit of dust/sand Enny. I know I wouldn't risk it

True dat but they seem to run a lot of their bikes without them over there so must work :D

Causes premature wear to the cylinder and piston. Any dirt will just go straight through the engine. No really worth doing for an extra bit of air.

Aye Enny probably will work great, till bits of crap start getting into the jets clogging them up. The Portuguese lads, spend a fair bit tarting their bikes up to make them look nice, but when it comes to the engine and engineering side we're miles ahead over here.

Well ,well, well, what sort of nutter would take on a project like that ey? Plus mine has a working servo, and bigger piston. Reckon I'll leave the carb at 38mm though.

The purpose of this hybrid prototype is, to create an outstanding 2-Stroke supermotard, uniting a supermotard with a pure GP 2-Stroke engine.
So, we picked up our Honda CRM 50 chassis whose weight is equivalent to a 125cc trail like Honda CRM 125 or Yamaha DT 125R, with an approached weight of 100 kg, and assembled the Yamaha DTR 125 engine .
The only Yamaha DTR 125 parts in the engine are the crankcase, the crankshaft and the cylinder. The Yamaha TZR 125 parts later installed are the gearbox sprockets.

Now we pass to the study of the Honda CRR (TZR 125 gear box), from which we can take many conclusions about the performances and losses between gears in a percentual way.
So, we now give the graphic relative to the Jumps/Losses Between Gears (%) for the Honda CRR:

crr-gears.jpg

As we can see through the Graph "Jumps Between Gears (%) Honda CRR", that the gearbox is very nice for top speed, the first gears are somehow long, then the 3 last ones are very short. As we can comprove by the Graph, the Jump/Loss between 5th and 6th gear is 9.10%, a good value for this kind of engine tuning, as we know in street bikes/GP bikes, the gearboxes are very close ratio to prevent breakings between gears.

Fitted with a TZR gear box and makes just over 100mph and gets there insanely fast.

HEHEHEHEHEHE you cheeky little monkey! The bloke said getting over 100 mph wasnt the issue it was getting the acceleration to match that of a 4 stroke supermoto like a ktm 520 but they did well :P

V force cage reeds are well over rated. Can get just as good results using carbon reeds in your standard cage.
