Hi guys, want some advice on wheelies on the old DT.
I'm popping it up in first right now by just pulling back on the handlebars, it drops after a small distance, I want to get better at them tried pulling it up in second didn't work, and I don't dare pop the clutch, lol.
2nd gear 4k rpm just clutch it in dont pull on the bars and get use to it lifting keep doing that till you get more confident never clutch it in 1st tho hha

You had an accident doing it in first then? Heheh
Going to try it, knowing in me I'll stack it.
Didn't Toy clutch it in first and come off the back at red lights? And got in loads of SM fail compilations? lol
I've done that once mate 1st gear 5mph, flipped it literally upside down. well thats on the drz which has alot more torque than the DT haha, 2nd gear it, get a feel for the front lifting first

I still haven't got the balls to pop one on the new bike yet! But on the TDR I just dumped the clutch in second with low revs to get used to the feeling of the front wheel coming up!! Needless to say I cacked myself most of the times! The last wheelie I done on her before she was sold was totally accidental and I could have ended up on my arse had it ended differently. Wasn't paying attention at the traffic lights and they went green, got beeped, so gave it a bit to much throttle while letting the clutch out a little to quick in a panic - handlebars came up to eye level and carried on through the whole junction!! hahaha! My heart was in my mouth, and the faces on the drivers in the cars on coming was PRICELESS!!
Go to a carpark and practise lifting the front slightly in second, its a frightening experience for the first few times but you get used to it. i still haven't got a proper high wheelie yet (on purpose), but it will come when my balls get bigger!
Worst ive done is clutching it over a minibridge didnt realise how steep it was, not only did i get air off it, my bike was over 12 o'clock safe to say i have NEVER **** myself so much ever before, didnt crash tho!!!
I just sling me willy over me shoulder, puts all the weight behind me then! Don't even have to clutch it! Thing tries to lift even while its still in neutral
