That is skimming. But you need to do it to both the head AND the cylinder! As they both can warp!

Fine wet and dry on a sheet of glass. Use a paint brush to brush water onto the wet and dry. In a rotational manner rub the head/ cylinder onto the paper. Do until shiny. Use ONLY genuine head. Don't worry about Athena. Just go genuine.

Do a heat cycle then retorque the head. Nuts.

I pin my dt everywhere. Shouldn't blow unless you have an underlying problem.

No it never blew cause you was "nailing it down the lancs" because I was following behind canning mine and my dt is still running spot on!!! You've not torqued your head bolts up from the last time you did the head gasket, how many more head gasket are gonna go before you get both head and cylinder done!! You probs wouldn't of had any of this if you listened to me when you first got the bike! I told you straight away it needed a top end!

Just after you've ran it hot enough to expand then contract. Then you just want to tighten them up again.

Taking it down the lancs shouldn't effect it all!! If you'd have done everything right and listened to us then you wouldn't have had this problem!!!

Im the king of blown head gaskets. My bike even bubbles from the mating points between head and cylinder. COME AT ME BRUH. My own fault for using ****ty gaskets. Meh, I've rode it like it for a month and when I pin it water just gushes out. All good fun.

that must of taken ages lol. It's strange how many useful things you can find over the woods when you really need it, think I used a yazoo bottle I found lol. The amount of times we've been off road, one of us has broken down and the others go off searching for some sort of tow rope/wire/anything that you can use lol.
