Yeah it'll be fine. Same cylinders throught the dt range. 3mb coded.
And take the exhaust off. Have a look up the exhaust port. Take the spark plug out and get some photos of the colour. That'll tell you whats been going on.
Will be white plastered if its had little or no oil And running hot.
Should be nice and brown coloured if its running properly. Too much oil can also be a problem.
Are you loosing coolant. Check the radiator.

So now it bogged for real... need a full topend rebuild, yay
It's good because I dont have any summerjob, so now I can waste time on the DT :) bad thing is, now it's gonna cost -.-
my guess why it bogged is either because I recently started using another 2t oil and didn't drain the oil system OR it is cause it heat-bogged recently which either caused some damage to the cylinder or piston OR it made the piston first expanded alot, then when it cooled it shrimped too much and then the piston rings got under pressure
anyways I'll open it up tomorrow and see how much is broken, probably need a rebore aswell
But I got a question, does all these pistons and gaskets fit a dt125re -06? It's the same kind of barrel on all DTs right? http://www.pjme.co.uk/acatalog/Yamaha_DT125R_Engine_Parts_Top_End.html
Forgot to take a pic on the spark plug, and we did it at my friends place so can't get one right now. But the colour was good - it was quite goldenbrown.
It's a Wossner piston, only used 4000km. We are gonna clean the oil system and check the oilpump.
No ****ing idea why it bogged Dont think it was cause of heat, since I had water in the coolant plus I had only ridden it for about 5 minutes, and it was cold when I started it and I didn't torture it and hold full throttle, I was driving quite calm... Ahh well I overtook a slow car, but I only held about half throttle..
Well I called a firm about 30km from here that rebore cylinders. They wanted 55 euros which is about 47 pounds for the job. Then I'll probably get a Mitaka piston kit... Not worth buying Wossner pistons in my opinion
