I like the oem ones on the dtx. Oval clear lenses. Smart in my opinion. I wouldn't ride without mirrors or indis. Thats cause i'm not very good rider.
How can you not be a very good rider?
Just takes a bit of practice. Just ride around and learn to predict what cars will do, you're all good. I only ride with the right mirror. Only need to check for people overtaking. Check your left blindspot regularly and your right one. Keep the shoulder checks up even if you have mirrors, it's vital.
And indicators, well they aren't that important. I never used them when changing lanes, just used shoulder checks. Only need them for when turning. The way I ride, I rarely have people behind me. I'm getting some of them small indicators on soon, already bought them just not got around to installing them.
As for the most of us on here we don't have much "skills" its more being cocky and pushing our luck the majority of the time.

Each to their own, lol. But them big indicators were way too big for me. When you're filtering down tight caps you forget about the indicators, and well if you're unlucky, snap.
I kept banging mine on my shed door, so got rid of them. :)
