hi guys

 

the other day my bike was reving to max revs on startup, first thing i thought was airleak, checked the manifold, huge tear!

bought a new manifold installed it properly with gasket maker/sealent and went to start it and the same bloody thing is happening!
i sprayed wd40 everywhere manifold, pv(idk why), carb and behind the stator what is going on! head has been torqued recently and all!
i hope someone can help ¬.¬ literally angry to the max looool

Yes check the junction box ensure cables sitting inside it correctly

i wish it was stuck!
can hear it hitting the bottom when no throttle if you get me? and checked before starting bike
juctions box is kinda ****ed but still fuctional ill have another look tomorow!
really pissed off as its my only mode of transport i hate buses!
dad says loads of jibber jabber like maybe its happened for a reason stopping you from potentially crashing ¬¬

That "hitting" could be from the oil pump...

with the huge split in the manifold could ur reed valve petals be damaged

Ah right! You didn't use an actual gasket then. That could be whats causing it mate. The gasket on the inlet manifold is huge! And the forces exerted through it are huge as well mate. Imagine the forces exerted through a vacuum. In my opinion get yourself a genuine inlet gasket. As said they're quite thick!
