hi guys. finished my project and been out for a ride on it but somethings up with it. Cant quite put my finger on it but basicly when i get to around 5k onwards the revs start to get hesitant, even in neutral so i know it's not that reed switch that i moved out the way.
when riding the bike it jerks and sounds like it's gonna explode 5K onwards and gets really bad at about 8k. i have checked my fuel level on the float and it's within spec. i have swapped the plug, and coilpack as i had spares.
it has a 3RM-20 CDI with no rev limiter
3MB ExhaustStandard 28mm flat slide carb with standard jetting (the 240 one)
im taking the carb off again now to clean it out. it kinda sounds lean though what you guys think?
Are you sure the powervalve is set up correctly? Is it going to the right way. It could br open then closes at 5k+ rpm. Causing it struggle to gain revs.
