Wasn't going to use Ralz as I have the TDR brembo caliper to fall back on if the DTX brembo buggeres up, but for future need might go with one as parts will be easy to replace, seals etc.

Its back to that time old problem though. She is just so slow! She looks the part but i have smoked many a r125's on bottom and top end and that just aint right for a sports bike!

Don't think he's too bothered about speed Calum, he'll get that when he gets his R6 after passing his direct access test, only a bit of a stepping stone for him.

They are not really restricted as such Nev, My mate fitted a bigbore kit and exhaust to a more or less brand new White one at work a while back I cant remember the make of the exhaust but the bill was big for very little gain, it gave it a bit more torque pulling power but not much more speed topend so he geared it up a touch with the sprockets. I think it might have had the injector tweaked as-well later. Still they are a nice little bike.

A well looked after nice clean old TZR would be a better bet if he wanted speed the type your always modding the motor for your DT. Having said that its finding one.........

Yet you're asking about derestricting it. If he's not bothered cause hes getting an R6 then I'd suggest leaving the bike alone....

You have a daft restriction on the back of your RE speedo is it Calum? more that sort of de-restriction, not nessesarily big bore kits, power commander, Akropovic exhaust stuff.

My bike is juat piss poor performance anyway. Faster than most 125 four strokes but slower than any 125 two stroke. Seriously needs a lot of work.

Can you buy akropovics and power commanders for them, yes you can "cashing in on the kids" just checked they make 13.5 hp with an akropovic fitted ............. :( wats the point.

A hell of a lot of money for about the same performance may be a bit less than a decent standard derestricted DT

My mate has one, they are nice to look at but in standard form sound ashmatic and are slow as ****! I have to cruise to wait for him when we go on rideouts. Although he can happily sit at 70mph appaz
