Yea would of loved to do it on the dt would of been so much more relaxed but I have to ride a fz600 ok bike but nothing like the dt so much bigger in between the legs ain't drove my dt for two weeks because there so different
Been riding four years. But can someone fill me in on what to expect for mod 2?
I've had my bike license for about 7 months now...
So yh Anyway yeah mod 2....safety questions at the start... Part of the test your be following his instructions, take the next left next right etc, then the other part your be told to follow directions to somewhere for example another local town village etc...
(if you go the wrong way and its slightest bit dangerous to change lanes etc just carry on going the wrong way, you won't fail nor even should you get a minor)
He will make ya do a few hill starts in the test.. normal starts and he most likely will get you to ride on a dual carraigeway...
You need to be doing all the safety checks throughout to have a chance at passing (will attach image of what checks you need to do and when) if your doing it on the DT or anything for that matter don't change down blipping the throttle at the same time, you can get a minor each time, same applies to revving the bike too high... Global warming shizzle they test on you too
Aslong as you allways do all observations and signals and make sure cancel signals to, mirror checks whenever the speed limit changes etc an youl be fine
the reason i did it before i was 19 is because i had already done mod 1 and my cbt was about to run out so thought ether do my cbt again for like £110 an that lasts 2 years or do my mod 2 for £75 and never have to do a cbt again..
