Ive never got led indicators working on the dt even with a relay made for use with led indis

Good luck tho and tell us how you get on ;) could have done it with resistors tho but I know resistors csn be a problem with getting hot and that

Yeah I think I prefer the look of some normal ones, not the huge ones you find on standard older bikes but small clear ones like you said are nicer I rek

I've had mine for about 6 month! Got rid of the originals-Jesus they are nearly the size of the headlight
Don't understand why yamaha would stick them big things on a decent looking bike

I love the big old chunckys   take 90% more bending and hammer than any small ones .  when it comes to getting bike in and out of small  standard shed door way  they take a beating

Yeh I agree but that's nothing to do with the size that's the build quality if you can find smaller ones with a more rubber like stalk they would be better and less chance of knocking them as they don't stick out like ping pong bats on your bike!

i have led ones on my dt.

for the relay i orderd the wrong one so cut the loom and wired on spade connectors to fit the replay and taped it up thats never been a problem just fitted the rears back up even thou there filled with mud lol

i like the small oval ones so ordered some non led ones as there super cheap for the 650 untill i get a relay and a taily tidy on it. for that price you cant go wrong tbh.

but now have decided to put the led ones from the dt onto the 650 and orderd some new mini mini led ones for the dt  should fit better on the new tail
