How to de-restrict standard exhaust

heres a pic I found think its a dtr ? some one outline the parts that need to come out and  maybe the  point where to cut to best get at them

Hi i've just got a standard exhaust off of my mate its from an 04 dt, i know it has some restrictions so im going to take it to work this week where i can cut it open and weld it back up etc, can anyone tell me what i need to take out?

tbh doesnt look like a dt pipe at all the re has a little nublet at the bottom for the cat recycle thing and that bracket on the top defo is not on any dtr pipe mabey tdr if its defo a yammy pipe

Plus a dtre exhaust has a massive honeycombe system in it. That is tack welded to the inside. Took me ages to remove.

Also when cutting open and removing the cat, remove the silencing material around the walls in the chamber and you'll get a much nicer sound. (It's not a restriction, it's just optional if you want better sound)
Now I remember I've seen pics on the internet on this aswell so it would be easy for you to understand... probably on the deutsch dt125r forum, but I don't got time to search for that now

Allright then cheers guys i will use the info you have given me to hopefully get it fully de-restricted

 

I'll probably use a die grinder with a flapp wheel bit to go round the inside make it nice and smooth before i weld it back up :)
