DTX front caliper, question.

Hi, I need a DTX front caliper, can't seem to find one. Turns out a new one from Yammy is £280.

Will this one fit?

Firstly don't buy a new one. The dtx caliper isn't that great. Yes its better than the single pot standard. But it's not better than my four pot caliper that i paid £30 for in perfect working condition.

If it were me. I'd buy the best brake possible. A nice four pot radial monster and install that.

Yeah that brake will fit sure. But it might not sit on the disc properly or reach it enough. From standard. If you mre prepared to make up some brackets then like insaid. Grab yourself a monster if a brake.

Yes that brembo brake will fit, but I got the same one from a yzfr125 for 14 quid. Try searching "r125 front brake"

Well, I got a 2010 one, cheaper than the above one too.

I got it for £26. Got fork socks on top for my DTX forks, will be ready to put on the bike soon.

Still waiting on my engine, so no rush with the DTX setup anyway. Going to see about getting a bracket made up when it arrives in the post. :)
