looks good and I agree with him above if that was round my way the scum would bite throu that chain in 60 sec or you would wake up to nothing but a back wheel chaind to the ground be willing to bet there is about 1 bag concrete round that anchor surrounded by soft soil ?

What I will say though is keep the chain as high as you can, having it running on the ground as well makes it so easy for someone to come along with croppers and take your pride and joy.
Can you not pass the chain through between the cylinder/head and front of the frame or are the links to big?
Looks nice. Did you use the pivot bolt off of the DTX when you switched the wheels around? My DTX front wheel won't fit with my DTR pivot shaft. I'm on about the pivot to hold the wheel. ;)
I can see what you guys mean, I'll try putting the chain through the frame like you said,
Yeah I must have used the pivot bolt cause I completely swapped front ends with my friends dtx

yeah sorry if we come across as dicks but having that other persons view is great on security .. used to have a mate that said no one could steal his bike awsome chain and lock anchored to washing line pole.... grabbed pole wabbled left to right and lifted the whole thing out of ground slipped chain over top . pulled chan still throu fram up on to seat sat on chain to keep in place and in theory rode of on his bike .......he was gobb smaked and later thanked me
TBH I think you'd only come across as dicks to the thieves after bikes. For warning him how to lock it up properly.
Thieves love people who don't know how to go about using their heavy duty locks, makes it easier for them to trash your bike down some local field / park.
guy got done on a drz he had one of them 19mm thick 2m long almax chains throw a ground hoop thing then over the seat of the drz the theifs compressed the seat down un did 2 bolts on the subframe and sliped the chain off
you only have to look at all the still chained up back or front MTB wheels in towns and citys to know throu the wheel is no good dont chain to any part of the bike that can be unbolted or removed with in 5 mins make sure what ever you chain it to is unmovebale solid or weighs more or the same as the bike then make sure the bike can not be pushed away [ D - lock throu each disc/wheel and forks or swing arm ]
the D-lock is a must have for any bike yeah they can be cut or broken but hell are they easy and fast to secure and make the bike un push a way able .
disk locks are great for nipping in out the shop but useless over night most bikes the disc can be cut or halam key un bolted in mins and with a bit of string held out of the way so the bike can be riden away .
Thats unreal the legnths people go to for a stolen bike. Not being funny but surely it's just easier to work and buy one.
Well, you work, what about two-three months on the minimum wage in Maccy D's until you can afford a decent DT, then think of the insurance etc.
Then think of five minutes cutting locks off and having a DT. That's why scum nick bikes. They can't get out of their sack in the morning, never mind working. They want everything handed to them on a silver plata.
