Bought a barrel of eBay said dtr 125 now I recognise the head but definatly not the barrel any one know what this is

Great done it out of eBay as well so no refund oh well sum1 might want it on eBay or on here 30 quid if sum 1 wants it cums with piston as well

Looks like quite a sweet barrel.

I think it will fit. HOWEVER! This is the biggie. The exhaust dowels will most likely be in the wrong place.

I've just put a tzr barrel on my dt bottom end. Running sweet atm.

Fuk that I'm selling it on eBay without the head any way to another barrel cumin wrong one again dnt no why I bought It must of been going mad so I'm still looking for a barrel guys might buy a 40 quid one of eBay looks ok any check out this what is it

It will fit, I think the breakers told me that the skirt might be abit different and that you may need to get a different exhaust..

That 3bn head is. Wànk mate lol

That looks like an rd cylinder. Or lc. Fml eze. Just get a silver round cylinder with 3mb on it ffs lol.

That other cylinder is useless mate. The exhaust goes round the other way.

Best thing you can do is to clean them both up real nice. Then bang em on ebay. Making them look as fresh as possible could grt you your money back.

Got another power cap cover cumin so I'm gona try find sum 1 to tap and die my barrel properly or attach it sum how. Any way homy uh. Want for that barrel danny

Got to be careful with the 3BN cylinder mate. Firstly it takes a bigger piston than the normal 3mb. It's 56.40mm bore as standard.

If it has a bigger bore then it must have a shorter stroke! Since cc = bore X stroke. It must equal 124cc so 124/56.40 is less than 124/56.00. So the dt with the 3mb barrel with have a ever so slightly longer stroke than the 3bn.

Not at all a problem. Just that you must double up on the base gasket. This will raise the cylinder. Raise the exhauat port. And reduce the compression ratio.

As said before. Jog those 3bn heads on. That ring is a serious restriction.

Kendog ran a 3bn cylinder on a 3mb engine.
