I have had my heart set on a 170 bore for a while now.

At £450 its not cheap, but i should be able to get it cheaper.

Im just wondering if anyone here has one and what your thoughts are on them?? I.E: power difference / reliability, ect... ect...

Thanks

Seriously do your research. I unloaded serious money on one amd was VERY disappointed with it. Many on here have two. Spend that money much wiser. You can get much better gains from having a 3mb ported and tuned and rejetted to suit. For much less than £440 and better results. About £200 will get you your cylinder ported and gas flowed. Including the head and piston. Then £50 on a bigger carb.

Money else where can match and beat the gains of those kits. Not impressed :/

Agree with Cal, spend the money elsewhere and make sure you know all restrictions are removed and the bike is running perfectly before even starting porting. Then consider porting work and upgrading the carb. If you read classic motorcycle mechanics, Stan Stephens writes for them and talks about the work he did on the 350's in the 80's. If i were getting porting work done, it would be by him.
