Lol. Isn't the one from wemoto an athena?

Athena do a 170 big bore kit. From my experience it wasn't very good. Now basing the exhaust system on the athena i'd say give it a miss.

The best exhaust money can buy for the dt is apparently the arrow system. The next best is DEP system. I would avoid big time the 'Big one' exhausts. They're poo.

The gutted standard (when done properly) is the best.

Thanks for the reply , the link takes you to a picture of just a downpipe, but if you look at the full exhaust on same site it defo shows an athena, they defo look different but maybe your right and they are the same (even look different colour).

Wemoto pipe is Not the same as Athena pipe, Just fitted one...sounds very dep like...and performance wise seems just as good. Not a lot of power in bottom revs like the standard gutted pipe..when climbing though it is much stronger!

To me is just as good as Dep, better than standard...cheaper too. And yes I have had dep too. So am in position to say otherwise.

the arnt a bad pipe but u carnt compare it to a dep its just out its league its a good 10mph fast than them wemot pipes and the colour of it is horride and it turns orange the first time its been out in the rain but it is a lot better than them big one pipes their just shocking. if ur gona buy a new pipe just stick the rest its worth it

not having that its 10mph faster at all! so now your saying my dt would be capable of 95+mph?? it pulls upto about 85-87 on vapour clocks. pulls same speed as my DEP does. mines been painted, the same as my dep pipe was-not a fan of chrome etc- so the issue with colour change is not an issue for me.

for me they are both very thin in metal and both will rust away like a bugger- hence why i cant see why anyone would justify spending the extra?? suppose each to their own.

I actually sold my Dep for good money -they can command very good prices and to be honest in my opinion not worth the extra. funded this 2nd exhaust and cash for other mods :p bonus

The DEP pipe is appauling. My DT is my pride and joy. I clean the exhaust every time i use the bike. Yet it still rusts. I'll be binning it soon for a custom made exhaust.
