Seafoam-ing a DT125

Hey guys!

Tried searching around for any topics regarding using Seafoam on a DT125, and it hasn't been talked about before. Anyone had any experiences with this? I have a can of it, and was thinking what was the best way to use it. (eg. in a tank of gas, crankcase)

Would greatly appreciate all thoughts biggrin

Thanks for the reply! Hopefully someone else has come across this, wouldn't want to just throw it in the bin without trying it.

Yeah I've never heard of it before. But I know that a lot of these products are just a scam. If it's beneficial to the engine then you know sure as hell the oil companies would put it in their oils to make theirs the best. That or they would sell it as a premium product. Either way it wouldn't be some trade secret. If it's worth something it'll sell.

+1 It's a quick fix if it does work. Better to strip and clean it properly. Would imagine it would wash the oil away on the 2 stroke. I'll avoid any additive myself.

Aye yea defo keep away from normal carbs especially 2t. Think it only really works for proper efi engines to clean out the tiny spray nozzles on injectors. Thinks its all bull**** tho think its just shot of high octane juice that makes u feel like its improved running wen it hasnt done anything
