I'll tell you honestly. I've had all three and they are all equally as good. I've had mitaka and it was a good piston. Wossner is lovely but i haven't seen anything special about it.

i would have thought they will do all sorts. Especially PJME

I'll tell you what i made the mistake of doing. I went to wossner and bought a wossner piston that took like 3 weeks to come. Then took the cylinder down to yamaha and they told me they could have ordered the piston for the cylinder and bored it faster because they're a dealer.

Now i say this because if i would had known they could order wossner pistons i would have taken it to them straight away because wossner do different oversize. They do smaller increments. Personally i would take to yamaha or an autharised dealer to get the piston. Yamaha charged me £35 for the rebore. Bargain as far as i'm concerned. Will defo use them again and next time get them to order the piston. Becuase they may look at it and say actually that just needs to be honed and doesn't need a rebore.

Thats my experience anyway. I've had really good experience from pjme and they do rebores for cheap. If i were you i'd send them the barrel and get them to judge what sort of rebore it needs.

Flat top not domed. Not good when you want to run high compression. Or as high as possible to gain most power.

It is worth a hone IMO but i've gotten away with just piston and rings. But barrel was in very good nick.
