Snapped a bolt can u believe it so bought a dremel now just got to figure out wat I'm gona do with it thought I would cut a slot sor a screwdriver now I'm not that sure need advice how to get this thing out I'm screwing
just dremmill down the middle myself they screw in a screw or another bolt to try and wind it out woked in most cases . but that lit looks like it should do the trick
Best way to do it is drill it out starting with a really small drill bit. Try a stud extractor first it might come out quite easily seeing as it's quite new. If that doesn't work keep drilling gradually increasing the size and use a tap to recover the thread.
It looks like its too late but do not touch easy out bolt removers. Helicoil kit is far better option! Hardened steel ( stud extractors) are impossible to drill out yet snap easy. total waste of time. Best of luck with it all mate and remember it will all be a memory soon! I've been there!
