What is the defect? Open valve in exhaust? You really weren't kidding. On my wall you said police round your way pull you all the time for no reason. Thats unreal.

open valve? and explain how they can tell that from a visual? they are not allowed to dismantle anything? think you need to explain what actually happened rather than just post that :p

Oh Can finally read it!

Open valve in exhaust something
Must be over reved at lights to prevent stalling

THAT IS SUCH BULLSH*T!

I'm sorry but that is BULL!

Firstly the bikes are carburetta. So drastic changes in the weather cause anomalies in the tick over.
Secondly the OIL PUMP IS DRIVEN OFF THE THROTTLE! SO AT THE LIGHTS YOU AREN'T SUPPLYING DA FŬCKING ENGINE WITH ANY OIL!
Not only that but the coolant is driven off the crank shaft and at tick over it's barely pumping any coolant around. So if you're like me and get stuck in traffic then you need to blip the throttle to circulate the coolant.
The fact that there are no valves on a two stroke says it all really. Guy doesn't know SH*T!

There are a million and one reasons I could give.

i was sitting at some lights reving to about 4k then lights go green i rev up and pull away then blue lights i pulled over and asked wear do they want me to stop as its all double reds they said just up there on a double red lol.
she said why was i reving so i started to say about the powervalves locked open atm she was baffled so i dumbed it down. i said "Basicaly there is a valve in the exhaust and atm its locked open so there isnt alot of back presure for low down revs so it can stall out at the lights" she then goes on about how dangours it is if the bike can die when rideing and wouldnt take it that its just at lights.

she then said its ok traffics are on there way they will be about half hour so i said give me the defect thing so i can go so she gave it to me and thats what it says lol

my mot tester is going to laugh at me so hard its unreal

Well that's still bolloxs!

That's just the nature of two strokes I'm afraid. And there becomes a point where the PV has to be locked else it hits the piston

Still can't see why need to rev that much if valve open..it doesn't stall...Not the fastest but won't cut out. My old one had no servo and was ok riding round town traffic...to see mot testers face..lol

Yeah there's something wrong if it won't tick over. Obviously. But I've had it with the snorkel out and it tries cutting out when pulling out.

Well as I said I could think of 3 reasons on the spot as to why I would rev my engine at lights.

Oh dear, me and my mates constantly rev at lights or when stopped, because it's just a force of habbit and we're retarded and just love red linning, quite missed having my snorkle in, it sounds the shít on the limiter compared to no snorkle winkbiggrin
