Worth every penny IMO. Cheap but loud and effective.

Now obviously you can't get all the features of this alarm working on the DTR. The DTRE yes but not the DTR. But to get the indicators working it's very simple. Instructions are included and I won't explain the workings of the alarm publicly for obvious reasons but the instructions are pretty obvious.

You wouldn't necessarily want it wired to the ignition since you don't want the power source cut once you switch the power off. So you'd use another method. But like said it's very simple

thanks very much ive seen plenty of £20 alarms on ebat that just fasten to the battery but ive noticed a few on here have gone for the cyclone but couldn't find anything on the dtr cheers again

Yeah i've had one for years.

I also have a XENA disc lock alarm and to tell you the truth I prefer the cyclone alarm over the XENA. The XENA is lovely disc lock but the alarm is activated automatically. This is very annoying at night since you have no option to kill the alarm. The cyclone is cheap but effective and hasn't let me down. It's sensitivity can be adjusted.

i had a cheap alarm on a few months back and it saved my bike it was fastened to a ground anchor which is in plain site and they still had a go but the alarm went of and they legged it but it cost me a fortune fixing the gate they smashed getting in

OK my cyclone arrived I've worked out which wire I need. I want the black and red for the battery and the two yellow ones for the indicators. Can I just cut the rest off ?

Yeah that's what i did.

Hmm OK got it fitted it arms and disarms and the indicators flash but if I knock the bike the alarm doesn't go off I've read somewhere the sensitivity can be adjusted on them ?
