why dont you just put on the whole loom and extend all the wires for lights etc that you need. and put a picture up of that project of yours, they 3 relays you need them too if you want indicators etc on your bike

I agree if fitting a dtr engine in any other bike you realy gota use the dtr loom and other parts easy to rewire lights-indicators ect their is maybe ways round this but its not gona be fun easy or the best option .

all loom is routed through the frame an into a battery box that also houses the fuse box
it would be a nightmare re fitting a dtr loom
the engine needs power to the starter wich can be taken from my old loom
it also needs power to the pv servo am I better of fitting a 3 wire servo?

it will also need the charging circuit for the rectifier my other bike is Yamaha so can maybe wire the dtr reg to the existing wiring

yes but than you need to rewire the whole cdi together with the pv and bunch of other stuff, it might seem like alot of husle changing the whole loom over but trust me thats your best option and im sure it would take you 1/4 of the time. instead of having to figure out the way of wiring the loom into the existing wiring loom. but i guess if you keep the middle section with the cdi on and than chop off the rest and add on the headlights etc from the other loom. unless you dont have the standard loom at all than its just not worth the hussle trying to figure this all out
