hi 1 ov my friends bought him self 1 of those cheap import things looks ok but sounds and drives like a bag of hammers any way his battery went flat after using the bike for a few hours so I checked to see if it was getting any charge with a volt meter and it wasn't so I checked all connectors then traced the wires from the regulator and the red wire has been cut next to were the ignition barrel is and that looks like some 1s been messing around with the red wire from that so would the regulator wire into the ignition ? any help would be great thanks
it souns like someone was putting on an alarm on it. just reconect the wire where it is susposed to be and see if that helps. have look at the wiring diagram and see how the reg recifier is wired up and you will see if the red wire has something to do with it. im guessing its a rieju mrx 125? if so than thats a spanish brand co owned by yamaha, so its got yamahas engine eather the r125 engine or ybr 125 engine so that might help with getting some of the replacement parts
Red wire cut on the ignition, near the barrel. Sounds more like someone trying to nick it and being disturbed during doing it. The red and another wire connected will have the ignition all on and the bike is ready to ride off...
