How do I remove the oil pump

As above I want to do away with the oil bottle an use pre mix in the tank 

how difficult is to remove the pump an how do you block it off after

I mean the pump for the autolube
a few people on here say they have done this but I cant find any topics on it

pull out the pipe from the carb to head rubber inlet and block the hole disconect and remove pipe from bottle and cap them off no real reason to remove the whole pump just leave it in place to maybe reconnect when you want to sell .

then get to grips with tank mixing .

myself also wouldn't recommend it but if your gona do it anyways so be it .

Remembering that the oil pump correctly injects the right oil for a rev ranges unlike premix where you either have it rich at the bottom end or lean at the top end.

I would leave it all running and fit clear oil lines and regularly check it if you're worried about it. It works and doesnt fail without lack of maintenance or mis use so personally i see not reason for removing. Just adds the hassle of mixing everytime you fill up with fuel.

People often moan about the oil pump but at the end of the day if it wasnt a good system it wouldnt have been used since for over 40 years.
