Also if you use chains, don't put them through the wheels on their own. It's easy to swap a wheel around especially in a shed / garage with tools on hand. That's another thing to never do, NEVER leave tools where you keep your bike. Shed / garage. It'll just aid the thieves at swapping parts or defeating security.
