I remember people talking about this, i did ask him if it still counts as 2 seats with no strap.

Luckily i have the footrests and put them on and went back up there, but lol

Some MOT places can be cnts. I've never had a problem. Worse case scenario I take them in a ruck sack. I've got a few bits and bobs like that. Number plate with no bsau number. Take all that with me.

I would think about contacting vosa and asking if this is allowed inc all details of the bike and if its on L plates or not .

seen things like this happen a lot fail and send people home till next day for something as silly as headlamp not in line even if they say they have screwdriver and can do it now they still fail them and say you will have to come back tomorrow for retest ..

a good mot place will give you 10 mins to sort things out and in some cases lend you the tool to do so ... old place i go to the old fella will even grab a screwdriver ect and help you make adjustments he has in past dug me out a fuse and fitted to pass me or said tools over there Im going for a coffe have it done when i get back

It's fine didn't take long to put the peg's on and ride back up there, i have always taken my bike's for MOT'S here. It's two old chaps on the verge of retirement

If it's something simple, surely it's in their best interest to let you sort it there and then, because isn't the re-test free? Effectively they're working for free, just because you've put footrests back on.

Absolute joke lol. Never had that on a DT. ive heard of it on sports bikes with 2 seperate seats. But the general thing is to take the rear seat off and leave it round the corner lol.

Rear pegs are an mot must on a DT125R as they have a dual seat ! Some places will let it go if they are not fitted mine used to along with small number plates but they wont let anything go at all now.
