how to tell if it derestricted

well so i have got 2 dtr downpipes and i know that upto 96 they were not restricted but how can i confirm it? as maybe the pipe is old or its just replaced from a newer bike and you will never know even if you buy a 1990 dt that the exhaust is original

The only way to truly test it is if you cut them open and check mate.

they were restricted before 96 too.. my 1988 DT125r had the restricted pipe inside the exhaust-right at the start where you bolt to head

i cannot see any pipes there lol. i guess i will just use the one that i think is older and see how that works :D

i just cannot be bothered to see whats up with my welder as the wire got stuck just where the feeder is and it didnt want to unbolt the last time and left it since than, i need to have a look i have got a dep with holes in it :D might slap that on the bike
