Beauty personified, bit like marmite these Busas, but until you've actually ridden one, it's more than just looks. Could be in the collection in a couple of weeks or so, even the missus gives her blessing

Lovely bikes these, mental fast biggrin

Also don't overlook the ZX12R, they're cheaper to buy and only a few mph down on top speed, no real world difference ;)

Big CC racing do on the shelf turbo kits for both as well wink

Thats a serious investement that...
Noticed stretched swinger wasn't on that list, that'd be near the top on mine if I was running 500bhp at the wheel! haha That bike would be likely to slap you in the face on a regular basis

Give these a look NEV, a wee bit cheaper and just bolt on to your existing swinger. Gives you another foot which should suffice.

Oh wow. Sorry but that is ugly. I'd rather go for an RD or an RZ classic two smoke.

Don't get me wrong, ya can't beat those specs but it's not all about that.

I do like the styling of the classic 80's bike.

Haha what?
I'd rather have a feat of engineering than a fragile old 2 stroke.
It's like comparing a frog eyed sprite with an SRT-8 lol

I don't know much about the Suzuki but I would struggle to see that that power comes with no maintenance or longevity expense! At least a two stroke is cheaper to rebuild when they do go.

Not really mate. I just knew you are on there and mentioned you because I wanted to know what the general consensus was.

I get it though. Didn't mean it as an offensive thing just something that might probe people to agree with. Cause otherwise they may just be polite and say yeah great. But I like opinions.

You said it yourself "when they do go." The joys of 2 stroke ownership

The hayabusa, providing it's maintained well and the work was done properly, would still be more reliable. You obviously don't use the whole 500bhp everywhere you go. Thee gsx1300 engines are practically bullet proof.

You could say the same about my Lexus RX400h, Cal, bit easier to run a car/bike when you get to my age, and the house you live in is yours, not the banks and no mortgage to fork out each month.

I've never liked them. To me they look like 2 people have been fighting over it and stretched it out. Then again I'm not exactly a giant so probably couldnt reach the bars and therfore have a biassed opinion! And all seems a bit too trying to be 'futuristic'. I'll stick to "my little pony" as the GF calls my TZR.

Marmite Andy, marmite, and to be fair I've never seen anybody under 30 riding one either.

Yup. I'd also sooner have a TZR 3XV than an r6 or r1. And thats not just a 2 stroke 4 stroke thing. It's a style thing. Born too late! :P

Just read the spec of that machine.

I don't think they look nice but WOW what a monster! 500 BHP are you sure? out of 1.3 turbo? That's incredible. But I'd have to go as far to say there is no way that thing will be more reliable than a standard well maintained RD350.

I'll do a bit of kicking around the web but that is incredible specification for a 1.3!

I dunno actually. The more I look at it and appreciate what sort of monster lies beneath...the more I like it.

I cannot even begin to imagine the power delivery of that bike!

If you want a bussa go for the pre 99 unrestricted version, its still the fastest stock production bike ever built.
