Hello everybody! Been a member of the forum for almost 2 years, but haven't posted anything, so I thought I'd introduce myself :)

I'm an 18 year old lad from southern Finland and have been riding motorcycles (mostly enduro style bikes] since i was about 7 years old.

I currently have 2 bikes, a 2012 Rieju Marathon and an '07 Cagiva Mito  (oh, and 3 Honda Monkeys and a scooter biggrin , no DT though :/)

Heres the Marathon...

...And the Mito (Doesn't really look like that anymore, bought some new fairings and giving them a new paint job)

I'll try and be a bigger part of the whole DT125R family in the future and might even get myself a DT if i can source the money from somewhere

 What happened? :o

Can't really think of any must-see things right now, close to where I live there are some 13th century castle ruins from the time Finland was a part of Sweden and some other old stuff. If you ever make your trip and come close to Turku and need a place to stay, you know who to contact biggrin There's also The Archipelago Trail, a ~155 mile "road" through the archipelago with some awesome scenery, which is actually something of a rite of passage for motorcycles riders in southern Finland (haven't done the full ride yet myself, maybe this summer when i get a bigger bike)

Little teaser of the scenery

Its a well built bike with a Yamaha Minarelli engine, and some other quality parts like USD Marzocchi forks, Ollé rear shock, Galfer brakes etc. Haven't had any issues with it so far except for a broken speed sensor. It's got a carb instead of fuel injection, which is a plus for me at least. Best bike I've had. Only negative thing about it is the small fuel tank (1.4 gallons), but that's not really a problem considering it gets 80-90 miles to the gallon. Overall, excellent bike, IMO (don't kill me biggrin) it's better than the Yamaha WR125 and is also quite a bit lighter than the WR

Little update: I sold the Rieju yesterday for a good price and I still have the Mito (Mito Still a PITA furious).

Looking at maybe getting a Honda Hornet 600 or some other decent bike that meets the ridiculous new EU criteria (Any suggestions? biggrin Max 70kW/95Hp...)

Bye Bye Rieju :(

Yeah I know a very good bike.

They are loved by a lot of members on here....Yamaha DT125? If you drop an RD350- engine into it it'll have tons of power :D

Nice bike, at least you've still got the mito.

Yup, it was a good bike, buyer rode it for 5 mins and just had to have it and picked it up the next day biggrin

Fazer is one option, but they look a little... "dated"... Damn I hate these new licensesfurious

Would love a DT, but here you cant find anything even close to decent for under 1k

It's now confirmed: Hornet will arrive from Germany within a few weeks time! biggrin My dad found it while importing a car from Dusseldorf

2002 bike with only 12k miles on it, looked brilliant he said, new sprocket kit, new front and rear tires and full service history, no scratches, no dents, no rust, no nothing.

Now just to order the restriction kit and I'll be out riding in no time smile
