Has anyone got a bodge method for removing the carb float bowl? I.E. Doesn't involve removing the fuel tank and carb completely.

yea get some wire cutters snip the throttle cable then cut the read block off and it should pull off lol. stop being lazy and get that tank taken off least you'll have the room to work on the carb as the space it tight enough with out the tank and stuff still in place

You should be able to tilt the carb far enough to get the float bowl off but to be honest you might as well just take the carb off.

Tried doing it the lazy way the other night but to be honest it made it so fiddly to get at the bolts I took it off completley was far easier to do it on the bench.plus the bolts are small and easy to lose.its tight but should just twist out woth a bit of wiggling once everything disconnected
