This was in switzerland but i cant remember which mountain pass it was, we did soo many.

missed 2kmiles of the trip as im not a morning person, but we done just over 6kmiles in 2 weeks.

France. Switzerland. Bit of austria. Bit of italy. Bit of spain. My favorite pass was in italy, we did stop en route so i could have a slash not far behind a cop car... oops!

I hired a cbf600 for the trip as i used to have a hornet, but turns out they are great for around town but too cramped for me n my fubard leg on long trips, and a horrible shape tank.
also my rear tyre half way into the trip was shagged!

Will seriously have to consider this one day.

Me and my bro are looking to take our bikes to the IOM for the TT. Although *cough Chuck the bikes in the back of the van for 400 miles. lmao. Take the bikes on the ferry over and then ride round the IOM on our two smokes!

Round europe there are more left handers lol i pinned the bike both ways... scraped the pegs untold times... really wish i had leather trousers with sliders on!! But im glad i took some goretex kit instead.
According to the garmin we done 44000 bends i think it was.

Calum... you know you have to book the tt a year in advance??
I wouldnt mind doing it myself one day!!

The problem with doing these cool rides up the mountain twistys above 1000m high, is that after a while you itch to do them again.....

Yea it aint pretty going wide on corners... Learned that hard lesson twice.... first on a DT125 (moss on the road corner) somehow got the right foot peg in my foot.. plenty of stitches lol.... then in 1998 on a 400 Superdream racing for a ferry from wales to Ireland, lost the front end at 50-60mph but thankfully was only 40cm from a nice fat pavment curb that caught the tyre and got traction...

Oddly enough I bought the hornet with a bent forks and smashed up back end... the previous owner hit a tree and cartwheeled it with 1000miles on it ... he wasnt as lucky as the bike, the bike breathed on, he didnt...... Ive never come off it in the 11 or so years Ive owned it...... and its one of the tricky ones with a 16inch front wheel... ridden it in uk, ireland, france, spain, and italy and between them all... it eats tyres though... and they aint cheap...
