Right so ive just filled coolant up well as much as it would take ,about 3/4 of a litre so far .

Filled engine with Silkolene comp 4 10w-30 on casing and in owners manual it states 750cc of oil so ive put that quantity in but its way high on the glass in fact above it !

Maybe its because its not been pumped round the engine as its not been started yet   no that day should be next saturday fingers crossed ..

Its spinnin over on the starter as sweet as owt so am hopeful she will live again lol

Anyway any thoughts on the oil level thing as i say its above sight glass

ps its been bloody cold ere today so oil was like treacle..

yeah should be ok once run . as long as you drained it ok and put in the correct amount there should be no problem

Drained it you say its been totally stripped by Norfe gearbox crank bearins etc n rebore so deffo empty MDK mate

dont worry pal, its been rebuilt so it was dry before you put the oil in.
750ml is the correct level! so if you have put this amount in (accordind to the bottle) then its at the right oil capacity.
it should ievel itself out on the viewing window once it has been run.
