What is the difference in the rear shocks, some listed 2004 on, so whats the difference from dtr125 pre 2004 and everything after 2004?

I bought a mint one off ebay only for it to arrive and not be the one advertised so not mintdisbelief, so need to know what I can put in year wise and the difference.

Think they are all the same just differant color springs

Older ones have a wider diameter coil, newer ones slightly thinner, plus only seen white newer ones.

Well I swapped a spring from an earler bike onto the damper of a newer bike, it fit fine.

If you stiffen up the back mate going to want to do the same to the front or it will be horrible
