I honestly never use to clean my dep, rain or shine i was on it 5 days a week going to college and back for 6 months until i got my job, somehow never got rusty and i never use to even clean it or spray it!! My mate bought a new dep the other day, just didn't look the same as mine, mine was much more shiny his duller, seems the newer dep's arent as good the guy before me was the one who put a dep onit and that was 2 weeks after he bought it brand new back in 2007 or whatever

For the money jeez they're poor quality. Don't get me wrong I know exactly what you're talking about. But of course it's going to wear at the neck. It's like 200 degrees there. What are expecting. The thin material is for performance. And as said mine gets used daily with only slight specks that would probably buff out on the head.

I was gona take it back cal but I didn't have the time and just left it on the bike as I dnt have another 1 to go back on as the pipe before that had blown a hole also which was a dep at about 2year old lol. but a bit of an update on the pm tunning pipe av found since buying new pipes that they don't work as good until they have a bit of carbon built up in them so today took it for a good run and wow what a difference top end is compared to the dep its 4mph faster top end and that was the first time taking the bike flat out with the new pipe on and its a road av taking my bike to its limits lots of times with the dep on. and I know its only 4mph but I would of put money on it that the dep would of still been a faster pipe than the pm but the pm pipe makes better power of the mid range power and top end 10/10 from me and defo recommend it its a class bit of kit
