I remember you asking about chain slap on my bike, well this is my dad going round, you can hear it a mile off but i think its because of the way he rides it, likes to stay in a high gear and labor the engine on his 450 lump
Must be just as bad on the kxf then! Mine ended up going through the chain slider eventually lol wasn't till it started squaring the chain off I noticed! It doesn't bother me so much off road it's just when I'm on road it drives me crazy! Mine seems to be worse high load but low revs though?
Yeh low revvs it will be worse in a high gear, i dont really know why but thats what my ol mans doing high gear low revvs, must be the chain slackness makes it flop about more as appose to high revvs pulling it tighter, dont really know
Dont worry about the chain slider, i replace mine every 3-5 months probably and thats only riding one day on the weekends
It just sounds so bad though lol. Been riding 2 strokes for a long time so I'm used to drowning out noises but just sounds horrible lol. Do love my klx though, even over the exc dare I say it! Mine hasn't seen proper dirt in ages though there's an event on at the weekend in slindon near chichester but I've got no way of getting there!
Yeh man get a van on the go, i'd do anything to ride, saturday night went to some house party got worse than i wanted got to bed at 4:30 up at 6 straight to motocross (i wasn't driving), best feeling in the world having all of the drink and a donner kebab being bounced around in your stomache when your riding... Or not lol
