Im switching bikes and helmets with my mate for a session at the track this weekend mate, so i should have a gopro vid of me going round on a ktm 125 sx!! Never ridden a 125 on the track before, well excited is it harder than the 250f?

Oh prepare yourself! Haha it's not much harder but you'll have to work it! Trust me! You'll be killing the clutch in the corners because unlike a 250f you have to clutch it in the corners to have the speed coming out! But I've always said if I had my way I'd race a 250f and practise on a 125 the 125 just makes you push! To have an idea search jimmy decotis cr125 watch that kid go he destroys the cr125!

Is there anything recognisable about the way the bike handles? The two stroke being lighter etc

Yeah he's insane how fast he is! Would love to get to that level of riding!!

Yeah don't be scared when the front end comes up haha plus you can't exactly gear brake with a 2 stroke! You'll really have to pinch the bike with you I knees to ride her right

Don't let the plastics fool you scrim! The plastics look really straight edged on pictures because I said the same thing when I seen pictures of it, but I've checked the frame and engine numbers and their both on an 03 the plastics have the curve in them

Ah I see what you mean the mountings are different on the tank and the panels, I have noticed my tank isn't secured properly wonder if theirs any chance the tank would of been changed as the frame numbers match up to an 03, do 03's come standard with excel rims?

My brothers is an 03 YZ125. He thought it was an 04 but when contacting Yamaha they told him otherwise. His has Excel rims and talon hubs

Ah I'll give yam a ring, is it the tenth digit on the frame numbers? I thought it was the last number on your yams

Gave her a little clean today and changed the bars and put some new grips on, also went round and replaced most of the panel screws 

In love with my new bars!

What bend do you go for? I run the windham/rm mid bend, got the smallest mm sweep so they're nice and straight for my 6'3 perfect figure!

How many £ did you give away for it?

Also the old changing the year around happen's a lot with bikes I've seen floating around. Some are stolen, one way to find out for sure is to ring the numbers in to the manufacturer whilst with the owner, and watch their reaction. And if it doesn't come back on the manufacture's system, chances are the bike never rolled off their production line with them numbers and it's stolen. Not that I'm saying yours is stolen.

The numbers haven't been changed I can tell this by the way they are on the frame, dkne a straight swap for my cr85

Yeah she's quite clean just need to sort the clutch and kickstart, stalls when knocked into gear so need to adjust the clutch lever and the kick start doesn't spring back need to take casing of and have a look! Yeah she is quite clean!

Well I swapped my £370 mondeo for a cr85 put about £100 into the cr then done a straight swap for this so stands me just under £500 and not sure yet 2 stroke can't wait to get it to a track and mick it's head in!
