Got no high beam on the DT. The light comes on next to the Neutral light. But the light doesn't change its brightness, I'm thinking it's the bulb, but if the bulb was gone, wouldn't it not work altogether? It didn't work after taking the headlight off, so I'm thinking a loose connection, but I can't see any apparent loose wires.
Anyone got a wiring diagram knocking about for a '97? Or know the colour codes for the headlight?

Yup, all sorted now. Bulb was fine in the end, forgot to put the three pin connector into the back of the bulb, doh!
Still failed the MOT, mind. Failed on carb as it was leaking fuel out, didn't even bother putting it through and losing £30. Told them about it and they go "that'd fail instantly" so back home the bike went.
Why didn't you sort that out. Surely that's obvious it's going to fail. How much was it leaking by?
For some reason my Carb does that if I take it out to sort jets. Then put it back it sticks and just pisses it all over the floor until the engine starts and a few blips.

Was leaking quite bad, even with the tap off.
And the bike was packed away for a couple of months with no petrol in. I only started it and filled it up on the day of the MOT. All sorted now I put it through another the next day (didn't even pay for the first as asked the tester before) passed with one advisory for chain alignment, which is sorted now.
Carb was all cleaned as well full strip and clean out.
