Heard someone mention that if the cap blows off of your coolant expansion bottle then the head gasket has gone? Is this the case, cos I'm experiencing difficulties of a similar nature!

Put your fingers into the radiator. If they come out black or oily the head gasket.

It shouldn't pop off unless you're head has gone.
