Help needed wr 200 wheels on a dtr 125
Permalink

So I bought a pair of reburbished wr200 wheels off of ebay that were advertised as also fitting a dtr 125 and as my wheels had a couple of flat spots, loose spokes and knackered tyres so I bid on them and won. They turned up today and look great gold morad rims, stainless spokes and almost new tyres so out I went out to my garden and changed the rear wheel with no problems at all but when I tried changing the front wheel I found that the disc is about an inch bigger than the one I took off and the dtr disc does not fit the wr hub if I could find a smaller disc it should be fine but were do I start I have not got a clue I looked a dtr 200 but that won't work I also checked some old yz 125 discs and it looks like they won't work either. I really don't want to send them back and was hoping for some suggestions from some of the people on here that have done their own wheel conversions it would be much appreciated thanks.smile

Got the back wheel on and I should have the front fitted tomorrow I had to use a ttr 250 twin pot front caliper and mount to make it work. After I get it a new mot I'll fit a new swingarm and maybe the tyres as they have avon distanza's on at the moment.

Your help was much appreciated as I said in the pm I sent you.

pm sent on 29-07-2014-That's a great help I just got a ttr 250 front caliper and bracket off ebay for £25 posted so hopefully should have sorted thanks for you help its very much appreciated.

The ttr caliper and mount did not fit so I'm having the front wheel rebuilt on to the dtr 125 hub so should be sorted by the end of next week thanks.
