Hi again lads

as the title says are 2 sroke pumps interchangeable between models iv hot on curenly which has a vertical pulley will the horizontal one work aswell

I dont think they are mate. I have them both and I think that the cables are different.

I also hear the worm cog is longer ? Maybe if I swapped the whole side casing it wouldn't be a problem what do you think ?

Yeah, I thought the same thing mate. Be very careful with that One! You will have to make sure it still drives the oil pump lmao

do you know of any way of testing a oil pump ? cant find anything on the net

Use clear tubing to see it go from the pump to the inlet.

Or turn the engine on, hold the pump open fully, and the bike should SMOKE!

cheers buddy

shes in peices in the garage atm with all cases and top end off, running without a thermostat so i believe i cold seized it, which would have caused my rear wheel lock up but i am looking into other possibility and while im at it rebuilding the engine iv got scores down the inlet side of the piston

If the inlet side is scored, you can imagine the exhaust port will be worse...

thats the strange part its clean like "new" would be the word, i don't understand the reason for it ?
