ooooweeee should of got some blue levers for mine looks pimp, can't imagine you had much fun riding with a DT lmao
I don't understand why 400's aren't common, seem like the perfect bike's to me although they are pretty small for the taller rider.
I also don't understand the 300/500cc strokers either, ever tryd to ride one? 250's aswell tbh every big 2 stroke iv'e been on just wheelies if you throttle it...
I like bikes that I can actually push which is why the 400 was so much as you were always pushing that little engine to 16k revs same with the DT.
Also don't like the idea of your hand slipping and next thing you know your facing the sky, which has happened to me a few times on bigger bikes taking it easy.

It dont wheelie if you ride it properly, adjust your stance your probably not sitting right, i know what you mean though but there are always simple ways of over coming it
true i dont get liter bikes went on my pals 929 plate before that biggiest engine was my 650 but had been on quicker 600s but the blade jesus allmost looped it just didnt expect that much raw power.
its easy to ride a fast bike fast but to take a slow bike and ride it fast prove who a true rider is

Mine has to be buying my DTRE for £1500. My bike was never worth that when I bought it. It never had Tax or MOT. It has since had £854.19 spent on it since I've owned it to get it road legal. I've since its 300 mile break in spent £55 on more parts! :L On the upside I have kept the receipts for all the work and the bike will be really tight when I sell it! :P
Seriously mate do not be so hard on yourself. Yes that may be the case, but you have an absolute cracking 125. I'm sad to see you're a little disappointed but life is full of them.
If it makes you feel any better, read my 4DL project. £330 spent on an engine that 1. Was totally ruined 2. Isn't any faster than a bog standard dtr engine. But look what I have accomplished. I've brought a old 1993 engine back to life. After similar amounts of money spent on rebuilding and tuning it the engine has yet to fail me.
It may seem like a lot of money now, but when you're earning plus that a month you'll realise it's not that bad. I've sunk thousands into my bike, every penny I'm happy with and the bikes a Wreck!
Gotta spend it on something mate. You will get good money for that bike in the end ☺
